Isn´t there a lot of pressure in the head?

If you go into hanging upsidedown really quick, even well trained people will only stay a few minutes.

The way you get there is essential to avoiding uncomfortable pressure.
In order to give the body enough time to adjust to each stage of the inversion process, we only lift the legs from a relaxed lying position and then slowly and in stages move our way upward. This way the body adapts in each step up, it is a true miracle.

In the last decades we have given thousands of sessions to people with ages ranging from 12 - 89 years old and it worked the same for everyone.

How long will I hang?

First of all, you can always say stop and we go down. It rarely happens that somebody feels the need to say that but its important to know this option. Over the years, we developed a very good feeling when to decend and that point is different with every person. We've had clients who could have lingered for hours, and others where we went with our gut instinct to not go all the way up the first time, depending on the opportunity that was available to let oneself in on that day.  Its about letting go and freeing something within and thats not bound to time.

A typical session lasts about 90 minutes, including a pre- and post-talk and a relaxation at the end.
It's nice not to have to do anything following.

What is it good for?

The spine and all joints gain space and liquid lubrication as we relax deeper into the inversion position each minute. With our own bodyweight, our muscles and fascia can stretch. Gravity enters the organs and hole circulation from a direction we typically never experience. The brain receives more blood than usual.
We tested the onset of a powerful regenerative process in the body as well as an improvement in self-healing abilities using muscle tests.
It is said that a reset takes place, where something similar happens to a computer shutting down and starting back up in full motion.
We tested a lot of the physical advantages; for more information, please click here.

We have also observed traumas come up and go, feelings appearing that have meaning or no meaning and we heard from people telling from a deep peacuful state.
Mentally, we've had people want to postpone the session due to having a bad day, but they ultimately decided to come and eventually land in a lovely center position.

As for our part, we can never promise anything but observe beautiful benefits on all levels.

Can I do it with an acute injury?

Please seek your doctor's advice first.
With back problems, it may be preferable to start with a ground session and then gradually work your way up higher the following session. Although we have observed rapid regeneration in some individuals and the absence of surgical intervention in others, we cannot make any guarantees. Medical issues are either your responsibility or the responsibility of your doctor.
Please also read the contraindications for inversion bodywork.

What are the contraindications?

People who have been diagnosed with high eye pressure should avoid being completely upside down. We have provided shorter sessions in the ground positions (up until shoulderstand) without an increase in symptoms, but before making a reservation, please speak with your doctor. If people have high eye pressure, they usually know it and have already been at a doctor for that concern. So if you don´t know it, you mostlikely don´t have it.
We agree that women in their moon phases frequently feel they should not be inverted.
Although it is feasible, we do not advise it.

How much does it cost?

A Session goes arround 90 min and costs an equivalent of 120 Euro (we are offering our work in different countires).

Discounts for students, retirees, and low-income people may be arranged.

Is it safe?

Yes, the equipment is tested with 800 kg (ten times the weight of the average person ) and frequently checked. We have 15 years of experience and have successfully delivered a few thousands of sessions. Additionally, you can always say when you want to get down.

How often should I do it?

There is no should or should not to that. Some people visit once a year to purge, while others choose to schedule several sessions separated by days in order to repeat the impulse and go deeper. Others come every few weeks to deep relax and renew. We had a woman visit us every day for a few days straight during a festival. Follow your feeling and you will be fine.

Where does it come from?

This way of bodywork was developed by Hartmut Bez in south germany. Being a tree-climber and having back pain, he first went upsidedown hanging from his knees on a bar when he felt that he would love to fully let go, the body and the fear of falling. So he had the brilliant idea to pull himself up from a laying position with simple (but hard to handle) ropes and climbing knots. Experiencing big benefits, he dove deeper and developed this unique treatment.

We also know that some ancient cultures used to hang upside down for a variety of reasons.
Native American young medicine men were hanging to become empty and receive visions, witches were initiated this way, yogis were practising hanging from the trees and we have heard of a tribe in Africa that worked with a two-day upside-down initiation.

How to book a session?

You can use the booking feature on this website (you will also find out where we currently are) or write an email. We are also on tour every now and then, so contact us if you want to organize an event in your region.

What to bring for a session?

Comfortable clothes, where the top holds in the pants when upsidedown (preferably a longer top). Thick sox that go above the ancle, if not we have some. Don´t eat one hour before and you can think of an intention.

Can I get the equipement for myself?

We only sell self-practice tools with an appropriate introduction. Prior knowledge is crucial when it comes to safety, equipment usage, what to do and what not to do, and other subjects. Attending a workshop with us would be the best in terms of quality. Individualized online counseling is an additional option. There would be two 2-hour appointments necessary.
Practitioners who have finished Basic 1 training are eligible to buy the tools.
